What is an Assessment Report?
An assessment report is a piece of paper that summarises the findings of an evaluation. It describes the strengths and weaknesses of an organisation and helps improve internal processes. It is usually written by an outsider however, it can also be conducted internally. Assessments are usually carried out as part of training and development programs or as part a broader company performance review.
The report of the assessment must clearly state the results of the examination, and what actions were taken in response to these findings. They should be easy to read and employ a balance of text and visuals to convey information. They must also take the company’s principles of design into consideration in order to ensure they are well-presented and align with the corporate brand.
When assessing a program, it’s not about determining if students have met prerequisite requirements. It is more about how they have progressed and if the program has improved student outcomes. Assessment reports for the academic year is one way to show this. These assessment reports provide evidence that programs are evaluating their curriculum, demonstrating continuous improvement and making changes in find out practices as the results of previous assessments are examined.
